LOADING GENERATION

• Ameco computes member dead weights, revises those as the sizes change
• Accepts input of floor and roof loads per unit area
• Computes dimensions of contributing floor area for each beam, slab and wall
• Uses these dimensions to compute dead and live loads on members
  
  

Generates as many live load cases as there are floor members Generates critical live load patterns for beams, slabs, walls and columns Computes live load reduction factors for column, beams, slabs, walls Moves vehicle loads over prescribed area Computes wall areas and wind loads on the building, based on specified wind speed or pressure and building code Computes masses and centroids of masses Computes static & dynamic seismic forces and applies these with code specified eccentricities
